Trauma Therapy
Something happened in the past, and the pain keeps returning…
Trauma comes in many forms,
from experiences as a child or an adult.
It can be a single traumatic incident, or a long history of physical or emotional pain, sexual abuse, extreme neglect or more.
It leaves an indelible mark on you.
Your struggles are real. They take a real toll on your life and you can change this.
Traumatic experiences create anxieties, struggles in relationships, depressive feelings, and even self-hatred in your day-to-day life on an ongoing basis.
You can feel robbed of your own well-being and frustrated after your unsuccessful attempts to do something about it.
But the truth is, You are not alone and you can change. With the proper help, it is possible to change how you feel and to experience life differently.
I am able to help you through an intensive and integrated approach
My approach addresses the effects of trauma via an essential combination of “top-down” and “ground-up” therapy.
“Top-down” refers to one-to-one psychodynamic psychotherapy –
an intensive, interactive relationship that leads to insight and emotional resilience.
“Ground-up” refers to somatically oriented approaches including
EMDR, neurofeedback, and mindful practices.
