Daniel Jonathan
Hello and Welcome!
It takes courage to move in the direction of your pain to make a change. And it’s a wise decision to embrace therapy for growth — skilled therapeutic work can make a tremendous difference.
Over a century of psychotherapy — and my own decades in practice — ground my conviction that this is true.
You’ll notice the artwork throughout this site — it reflects something essential to how I work: I believe that healing happens not only through self-understanding and emotional honesty, but also through imagination, wonder, and joy.
Feel free to be in touch with any questions that you might have. I hope to see you.

Your Sense of Self
There are many ways in which you might struggle deeply with your sense of self. We’ll get at the root-causes of these struggles, and open up a much more spontaneous and deeper flow of self-experience.
The Effects of Trauma
We can treat trauma effectively by engaging your experience at multiple levels. This often involves a mix of depth psychology, neurologically focused approaches, such as EMDR, neurofeedback, and mindful practices.
Anxiety
Living with fear and anxiety can leave you feeling lost, exhausted, and completely overwhelmed. We’ll figure out why your mind and body are on high alert and give you the tools to regain a sense of control.
Depression
Depression can make you feel like you’re stuck in a fog, unable to see a way forward. I’m here to help you break through it, understand what’s weighing you down, and take practical steps toward feeling more vital and energetic.
Later Life Transitions
Big life changes like retirement, loss, or illness can trigger anxiety and doubt, and shake your sense of self at the core. We’ll put words to your experiences and work to give you clarity, agency, and renewed meaning in your life.
Relationship Challenges
Struggle is a normal part of relationships but one must struggle well, or it can spiral at the cost of vitality and intimacy. We’ll work to break tenacious and unproductive patterns and reconnect in ways that may surprise you.
